The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The assistance level made for intervention experiences a large inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to read more a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to enable the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
